Keel-billed toucan (top center): The species is found mainly in the lowlands, but can range up to 1,400 meters in Central America and to 1,500 meters in Colombia, inhabiting the canopy of humid forests. Even though it is sometimes found in secondary growth, forest edges, open habitats or plantations for foraging, it prefers undisturbed forests. (Catherine Graham, 2001: 776-784)
