75th anniversary of the Universal Postal Union: Boeing 377 Stratocruiser (Seattle): It was the last of the company propeller-powered luxury airliners. It first flew in 1947 as the elegant, civilian offspring of the C-97, and it began service in 1949 between San Francisco to Honolulu.
