Stucco (913=1009): The vestiges dug up from the Sedrata sands are from a mosque and private homes, decorated with sculptured plaster. They reveal details of the Mesopotamian architecture, and ornamentation whose geometric decor includes squares, circles and roses. The shape seems silhouetted in the still-fresh plaster with a wooden or iron tool, without any moulding. (B. Haichour, 2008: 764)
