András Cházár (1745-1816): founder of the Royal Hungarian Deaf and Dumb Institute (Váczi, 1802). He wrote a pleasure letter in 1790, on behalf of the ploughing bourgeoisie, recommending universal and compulsory primary education, and the support of the disabled.
